Idea Generation Grant: Community IT hub offering free sessions, training and support

All Saints Church Community Centre (ASCCC) is a registered charity in Camborne, supporting over 1000 vulnerable people a week. The centre provides a number of services to the local community including facilitating mental health groups, groups for the elderly, youth groups, support groups and groups for people with disabilities, including sports and dance clubs.

The centre applied for a Smartline Idea Generation Grant for the development of an IT hub enabling them to offer free IT drop in sessions, provide training and facilitated support to the community.

Bev Price, All Saints Church Community Centre Manager, said: “We are very grateful for the professionalism, understanding, guidance and support throughout the process which has successfully helped us secure the funding to set up and deliver the service. This will benefit many vulnerable people and increase their life opportunities.”
