Conference. Smartline - A new vision for health & housing
Join us to celebrate the 5th anniversary year of Smartline research collaborations and business innovation support, showcasing new findings and project highlights from this unique multi-partner project.
Smartline is an exciting research and innovation project looking at how technology can be used to help people live healthier and happier lives. It is a partnership project led by Coastline Housing, the University of Exeter, Volunteer Cornwall, South West Academic Health Science Network and Cornwall Council, including several other independent contributors and innovators.
What’s on the agenda?
The conference pulls together researchers, organisations and businesses to review key findings from the Smartline project to understand the challenges people face linked to health and wellbeing and review how Cornish SMEs and Smartline research has responded to these problems. Looking at enterprise innovation and research initiatives to improve the home environment, develop digital skills and build stronger communities.

Smartline Funding Statement
Smartline has been part-funded in Cornwall by the European Union Regional Development Fund, Cornwall Council and the South West Academic Health Science Network in order to support Cornish businesses develop new technologies increasing job opportunities in the county, building stronger communities and improving health and wellbeing. Enterprise support eligibility: as an open event, any enterprise or person is welcome to attend, however those that are eligible, Smartline will claim as an enterprise supported by the ERDF Smartline Project. Smartline will contact you directly by email to discuss.
